✅ Quick answer
Stop the session in the app, or hold your charging card to the charger's RFID reader again. If the session still shows as active after you've unplugged, contact the charge point operator (CPO) and keep proof of when you left.
🔍 Check these first
- Check that charging has finished: Make sure your car has finished charging and the cable is disconnected from your car.
- Check your internet connection: The app needs mobile data to stop a session. Make sure mobile data is on, and turn on data roaming when you're abroad.
- Update and restart the app: Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play, then close the app completely, open it again, and try to stop the session once more.
- Use your charging card: Hold your charging card to the charger's RFID reader to end the session.
Before you leave the charger, check in the app that the session has ended. This helps you avoid extra charges.
🚗 Session still active after you've left?
- Contact the CPO using the contact details on the charger. Tell them which charger you used and when you left.
- Keep proof of when you left, like a timestamped photo, your location history, or your car's trip log.
- If you were charged for more than you used, contact Plugsurfing support and share that proof.
🛠️ If it still doesn't work
Contact Plugsurfing support in the app: Account → Help and support → Chat with digital assistant. On your computer, use the Plugsurfing support chat. Have the charger's location, the time you unplugged, and any error message ready.
