The VIN feature was enabled from February 21, 2023, for the Polestar Charge app.
Here are the steps on how to add a VIN in the Polestar Charge app:
- If you are a new customer, please add the VIN when registering in the app to access Polestar-specific offers. Current customers will be prompted to add a VIN when they open the app. Your charging key will work as long as it's been activated. To charge via the app, you will need to add the VIN.
- As soon as the VIN is added it will be visible under your profile.
- If you're experiencing any issues with adding the VIN to your Polestar Charge app, don't hesitate to contact our customer support team. Make sure to provide a valid document proving you own the Polestar vehicle. This will allow our representative to assist you quickly.
