How does the Polestar Charge subscription work?

On 1 October 2026, the Polestar Charge subscription changed. There are now two subscriptions, Polestar Charge Plus and Polestar Charge Pro, so you can choose the discount that suits how you charge.

Which plan is right for me?

• Polestar Charge (free): no subscription needed. Ideal for occasional public charging.
• Polestar Charge Plus: 15% off DC and HPC charging at selected local operators in each country. Ideal if you charge in public every month.
• Polestar Charge Pro: 30% off DC and HPC charging at a wider selection of local operators in each country, and 30% off IONITY anywhere in Europe. Best value if you charge often or drive long distances.

Which operators are included?

It depends on your country. Pro includes every Plus operator and more. Select your country on the Polestar Charge subscription page to see the full list.

At operators that aren't included, you can still charge with Polestar Charge at the standard price shown in the app.

How much does it cost?

Prices are per month. You're billed monthly to your debit or credit card until you cancel.

Which countries are included?

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.

Your discount applies at the included operators in each country.

I had a subscription before 1 October 2026. What's changed?

Your subscription moved to Polestar Charge Pro on 1 October 2026. The Pro price for your market applies from your first billing date on or after 1 October. You can switch to Plus or the free plan, or cancel, at any time.

How do I subscribe or switch plans?

Open the Polestar Charge app, go to Account, then Subscriptions, and choose your plan. [

How do I cancel?

There's no minimum term. Cancel at any time in the app or through live chat. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. If you cancel within 14 days of subscribing, you get a full refund.
