Pricing information

Plugsurfing is not an owner or operator of charging points - we are an emobility service provider. We work with a variety of different charging point operators (CPOs) to provide our customers with a seamless and hassle-free charging experience, regardless of their location.

CPOs determine the pricing at their individual charging stations, so they can vary a lot. You can check the pricing for a specific station in the map section of the Plugsurfing App. We always guarantee the price you see in the app at the time of charging is the price you will pay. Depending on the location, this can include various price components such as price per kWh, per minute, as well as a blocking fee. Checking the app will allow you to plan and budget for your charging needs accordingly.

In Germany, we have flat rate pricing depending on the speed and sometimes the operator. Price changes are communicated to active users via email with one week notice to all active users in Germany. And of course the prices show in the app at the charge point as well.
