Once your RFID charging key or card arrives, you can activate it either in your app or in the user portal.
If you do not yet have a charging key, you can learn how to in this article.
In the user portal:
- Log in to your account here.
- Navigate to the Charging Key/RFID section in the panel on the left side of the window.
- Under the heading Activate/Add Charging Key, you will see a blank field for input of your 12-digit ID code. Every key begins with the identical six digits, DE*8PS*. The remaining 7 digits are unique to your charging key. Please fill in these digits to complete the charging key code.
- Click the green Activate Charging Key button. That's it! You will need to wait up to 24-hours for the charging key to be recognised across our entire network.
- You can view all connected charging keys on the same webpage.
In the app:
- Open the app and navigate to the Account section in the menu on the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Charging Key/Card and then Activate Charging Key/Card.
- You will see a blank field for input of your 12-digit ID code. Every key begins with the identical six digits, DE*8PS*. The remaining 7 digits are unique to your charging key. Please fill in these digits to complete the charging key code.
- Tap Activate in the top right corner of the screen. That's it! You will need to wait up to 24-hours for the charging key to be recognised across our entire network.
- You can view all connected charging keys under the Charging Key/Card section of the app.
