If you are experiencing technical issues during a charging session related to cables or if the charging point is offline, you can take the following troubleshooting steps:
- Check the cable: Check the charging cable for any visible signs of damage, such as cuts or tears in the insulation. If you notice any damage, do not attempt to use the cable, as it may be unsafe. Instead, report the issue to the charging station operator or Plugsurfing customer support.
- Restart the charging session: If the cable appears to be undamaged, try restarting the charging session by unplugging and re-plugging the cable into your vehicle and the charging station. This may help reset the connection and resolve any issues.
- Check the charging station's status: If the charging point is offline, check its status on the Plugsurfing app or website. If it is marked as offline, try finding another charging station nearby.
- Contact customer support: If the issue persists, contact Plugsurfing customer support for assistance. They may be able to troubleshoot the issue with you over the phone or via the app. Provide them with as much information as possible about the issue, including the location of the charging station and any error messages that you may have seen.
- Find an alternative charging station: If the issue cannot be resolved, you may need to find an alternative charging station to complete your charging session. You can use the Plugsurfing app to locate another charging station nearby.
- Report a problem via the app: If you are unable to charge your vehicle due to a CPO issue here are the steps of how to report the problem via the Plugsurfing app. Open the app->Select the charger->At the bottom of the screen will show up the option Report a problem-> Select it and follow up on filling in all the necessary information->Submit. Our Development team will make sure to share this feedback with the CPO.
Overall, if you experience technical issues related to cables or if the charging point is offline during a charging session, it's important to take the necessary steps to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible. By following these steps, you can help ensure that your charging session is a success and that you are able to charge your vehicle as needed.
